Notes According to the analysis did in the laboratory at the deposit of Þjóðminjasafn, the hole drilled close to one of the eyes presents traces of brown colour in the same area and both sides. For this reason, I suggested to be an alteration of metal. The analysis made with a magnetometer detected a weak signal of metal from this hole. Further investigation could be useful to understand better this element.
