Line runner found within an ash midden located in the western part of Structure 1, Area B. The artefact corresponds to Olsen’s (2005) Type IV, characterized by an incised gliding surface and stoppers. The securing area is broken. The object is solid and compact, suggesting that it was made from cortical bones.

Notes There securing are broken and present no drilled holes for attaching this object to the gunwale as documented in the specimen from Vatnsdalur. The form and typology are consistent with comparable line runners documented in Norway and similar other specimens were found in Iceland.
