Small decorated whale-bone plaque with a convex profile. The central panel has concave sides framed by incised lines and simplified meander motifs. The curved upper section terminates in two opposed animal heads connected by elongated tongues, while the surrounding surface is ornamented with punched circles. The object represents an elegant and unusually small example of Viking Age decorative whale-bone carving.
